OCC - Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Englewood, CO is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with BLS certification to support physicians and deliver exceptional patient care. This full-time role emphasizes thorough rooming, procedure assistance, patient education, and accurate documentation in the patient file.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 year experience in specialty clinical MA position, preferred with experience in orthopedic practice/hand and upper extremity.
• Strong focus on patient quality and customer service.
• Excellent follow through to see tasks to completion.
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians with basic patient care and customer service.
• Rooming duties including cast application/removal, suture/staple removal, blood draws, autoclave.
• Phreesia/MIPS input.
• Maintain and stock exam/procedure rooms, sterilize instruments.
• Assist during procedures; monitor patient in recovery.
• Enter consultations, notes, lab and radiology reports into patient files.
• Educate patients on policies, medications, pain management, home treatments.
• Ensure consent forms are completed and filed.
• Respond to calls/messages and assist with inquiries.
• Administrative tasks: FMLA, records requests, scheduling surgeries, MD blocks, X-ray orders.
• OSHA sign off lists.
