Job summary

Nemours is seeking Medical Assistants to support patient flow, data collection, and entry of medical history. The role includes coordinating intake processes, preparing information for the provider, and performing routine clinical tasks under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to obtain BLS within 90 days, and complete an accredited MA program or hold MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification as a medical assistant.
• Acceptable certifications are CMA, RMA, NCMA and CCMA.
• Basic clinical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake.
• Enter pertinent history in the medical record.
• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider and per protocol.
• Mentor and train new Medical Assistants for MA II/III roles.
