Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training as a medical assistant.
• Graduate of a medical assistant apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Six months healthcare experience and six months MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform MA I level duties competently for the clinic's needs.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
