Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with clinical hands-on training.
• Graduate of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
• At least one year of MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• BLS certification required at hire (American Heart Association).
• 6 months of healthcare experience.
• 6 months of medical assistant experience.
• Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.
