Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduated from MA apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform all MA I duties and be fully competent in clinical needs for assigned clinic/location.
