This role assists in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures, technical and clerical supportive services in the clinical setting. The Medical Assistant may administer intramuscular, subcutaneous , or intradermal injections , and may perform skin tests , administer oral medication, venipunctures , and skin punctures for blood specimens.
Medical Assistant diploma required . High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience required, two years preferred .
Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location required .
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
$26.00 - $30.55 hourly
