Responsible for coordinating advanced clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care delivery and optimal clinic operations. Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows, enhance patient experience, and uphold quality and safety standards. Develops and mentors staff through training, feedback, and performance support to promote professional growth. Implements process improvement initiatives that strengthen clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area
2-5 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
This position requires regular standing or walking with objects up to 10 pounds; intermittent standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; intermittent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50 pounds; and occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects over 50 pounds. Also involves occasional sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with intermittent repetitive motions; intermittent risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; intermittent risk of injuries from use of equipment; job‑related travel; occasional exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, and hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste; intermittent exposure to cuts or punctures and blood‑borne or airborne pathogens; and occasional interaction with combative or violent people.
