This full-time clinical role supports providers, nurses, and MAs, assisting with lab testing, room preparation, and patient coordination to ensure smooth flow and quality care.

The MA I will handle pre-visit planning, chart updates, scheduling follow-ups, and clerical tasks, while upholding standard precautions and teamwork within the CHCFC patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; English proficiency.
• Experience: Primary care office-based experience preferred.
• Skills: Organized, diverse teamwork, MS Office, medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care within the assigned primary care team.
• Performs routine CLIA-waived lab testing as directed.
• Assists with lab sample collection.
• Prepares exam rooms and restocks.
• Answers calls and handles non-triage calls.
• Manages pre-visit planning and records requests.
• Maintains PPE and clinic safety.
• Coordinates in-clinic services to ensure timely patient flow.
• Attends health center meetings and covers PTO as needed.
