ChristianaCare’s Medical Advantage at Milford is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant I to support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, delivering essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Our team serves older adults with coordinated, proactive healthcare, including annual wellness visits and disease management, within a mission-driven, benefits-rich environment offering PTO, tuition reimbursement, and family support programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person.
• Prepare patients for visits and perform basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs).
• Assist with exams and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Handle clerical duties, troubleshoot video visits, and support patient portal access.

ChristianaCare's Medical Advantage at Milford is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills.

As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Our My65+ team provides personalized, comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of older adults. Patients receive coordinated, proactive healthcare from dedicated professionals committed to helping them live healthier, more independent lives.

Services Include:

• Annual Medicare Wellness Visits
• Chronic Disease Management
• Medication Review and Management
• Coordination of Care with Specialists

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Occasional cross training/coverage at Rehoboth practice

Duties / Responsibilities:

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
