Position Details:

Location: UT Physicians Women's Center - Memorial City, 929 Gessner, Suite 1300, Houston, TX 77024

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing quality patient care and excellent customer service.
2. Preparing for patient visits, managing schedules, and ensuring test results and clinic requirements are ready.
3. Rooming patients, documenting chief complaints, vital signs, medication lists, allergies, and other relevant information.
4. Performing clinical procedures such as hearing and vision tests, EKG, spirometry, specimen collection, and equipment cleaning, as competency allows.
5. Maintaining clinic rooms and supplies, assisting with procedures, scheduling follow-ups, and performing clerical duties.
6. Screening patients via phone or in person, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Use and care of standard clinic equipment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant training preferred
• Minimum six months of experience or completion of approved Medical Assistant program

Physical Requirements:

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently.

Additional Information:
