Job summary

Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada is seeking a Medical Assistant I/II to join our care team in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform routine clinical tasks, take vitals, enter notes in the EMR, prepare electronic health records for visits, and assist with specimens and medications as needed.

Travel to other KSOSN clinics is required. Position requires MA certificate or diploma and a minimum of two years MA experience; Epic/EMR experience preferred; full-time daytime hours with a supportive team

Qualifications

• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical tasks to support assigned provider(s).
• Answer phones, respond to voicemails and enter messages into the patient chart in the EMR.
• Room patients and obtain vitals, review/update medication lists, and collect urine samples.
