Job summary

UCHealth seeks a Medical Assistant for the Highlands Ranch Outpatient Clinics. This onsite, full-time role in the Highlands Ranch Float Pool offers direct patient care, vitals collection, and specimen handling under nurse supervision.

Positions pay $20.26–$26.34/hour for Medical Assistant and $21.49–$27.94/hour for Medical Assistant I, with pay scales based on relevant experience and a clear career ladder for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) with card in-hand before start date and valid through 60 days after hire.
• 3+ years MA experience or graduate of an accredited MA program; CMA/RMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nurse/clinician supervision.
• Gather vital signs and collect specimens; monitor patient condition changes.
• Keep care area stocked, clean and orderly; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Handle administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.

Medical Assistant - Highlands Ranch Outpatient Clinics

Department: Positions available Highlands Ranch Float Pool

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Full-time Days

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Medical Assistant Requirements:

Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

MA:
