Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking compassionate Nursing Assistants/Medical Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team in Atlanta and beyond. This role provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety and personal needs while supporting physicians and other clinical staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, patient transport, and maintaining accuracy in patient records, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
• Less than 1-year prior experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Assist physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting as part of a multidisciplinary patient care team.
• Perform a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities/License Or Certification Required
