Job summary

A leading company in health care is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist in various back-office activities essential for quality clinic operations. You will administer injections, conduct diagnostic tests, and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the maintenance of quality control standards. Ideal candidates will have either certification or registration as a Medical Assistant and relevant medical experience. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Certification as Medical Assistant (registration/certification) within 30 days is necessary.
  • CPR and/or BLS certification should be current or obtainable within 30 days.

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of back office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys and various other procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards.

Required Qualifications:



  • High school graduate or GED

  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant via Washington State Department of Health or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

  • Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

  • Access to reliable transportation



The hourly range for this role is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
