Job summary

Vail Health is seeking an experienced clinical support professional to assist providers with patient care and administrative duties. The role emphasizes accurate documentation in the EHR, patient communication, and preparation for procedures.

The position requires basic medical terminology knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to perform venipunctures and injections when needed. Experience with EHR and patient scheduling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with patient care and administrative duties preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems.
• Must be able to obtain venipuncture and injections where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, monitor, and record vital signs and patient history in EHR.
• Field patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures and direct patient care.
• Prepare patients for procedures, venipunctures, injections, and IV therapy as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the provider.
• Maintain patient documentation and communicate care plans with the provider.
