Position Summary

The Medical Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager. This role involves assisting the nurse and front office with daily duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system.
  • Perform necessary CLIA-waived tests.
  • Clean exam rooms after patient use.
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Process soiled instruments appropriately.
  • Assist front desk with daily operations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Licensure and Certifications: CPR required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a medical assistant preferred.
Work Environment

This position involves standing and/or walking for 80% of the time, with the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds. The remaining 20% of the time is spent sitting in a standard office environment.
