Job Summary:

The role supports the licensed healthcare team by organizing and managing clinic patient flow, gathering and documenting patient screening data, assisting with patient and family education, and communicating with the patient's healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage patient flow and unit operations, maintaining supplies, equipment, and environmental standards.
  2. Identify resources to meet patient healthcare needs.
  3. Assist with procedures according to departmental standards.
  4. Collect and document patient screening data.
  5. Support patient and family education.
Technical Capabilities:
  • Planning & Organizing: Ability to anticipate resource needs, set priorities, and organize work effectively.
  • Clinical Competencies: Assist with clinical care tasks such as vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, medication administration, and point-of-care testing.
  • Environment of Care: Set up and maintain patient exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clinical Patient Documentation: Experience with clinical applications for patient documentation.
