Job summary

Corewell Health's Gynecological Surgical Specialties unit in Grand Rapids seeks a motivated Medical Assistant to support subspecialty women’s health care. The team of 14 providers delivers compassionate care to a diverse patient population with complex pelvic conditions.

This full-time role supports a busy outpatient clinic, collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations on a day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
• Competency-based Medical Assistant training program Required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days.
• One of CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certifications required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the clinical support team and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist in the delivery of care and support subspecialty women's health patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to maintain clinic operations.
