Job summary

Corewell Health's Midwifery Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic in Grand Rapids seeks a Medical Assistant to join a collaborative team. You will support obstetric and gynecologic care, assist with procedures, and help organize patient flow while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

Two Ada and Cutlerville locations offer a broad range of services, including IUDs, hysteroscopy, and prenatal programs. Full-time, day shifts, with a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program OR at least 1 year of direct patient care in MA/related roles.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Certification CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA required within 120 days.
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the clinical support team and collaborate with other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and support patient flow in a busy obstetrics/gynecology clinic.
• Handle routine patient care tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Education

BLS Certification (within 90 days)
