Job summary

Providence Medical Group is seeking Medical Assistants for a Monday-Friday schedule, with no evenings or weekends, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. You will support licensed practitioners, maintain patient records, prep rooms, and assist during exams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Positions include Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates who meet payment conditions, alongside

Job description

This Medical Assistant positionis a Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings and weekends covering one of our many clinic locations.It isimportant part of the care team who work closely with our licensed practitioners to provide care for our patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams.

HOME CLINIC: This position is located inside Sacred Heart Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant in Gynecologic Oncology, you will provide clinical support for patients facing complex gynecologic cancers while working alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through exceptional patient care, coordination, and advocacy during every stage of treatment.

The job utilizes a combination of skills including:

• Clerical computer and phone skills
• Customer service/people skills
• Medical terminology
• Hands on clinical skills

Typical job skills include:

• Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure
• Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient’s medical records
• Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing

Associate Medical Assistant

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or Minimum oneyear of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)

Preferred qualifications:

• 6 months- Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment.
• 6 months- Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).

Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07

Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.

Medical Assistant Registered:

Required Qualifications:

• Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training- Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.

Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07

Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.

Medical Assistant

Required qualifications:
