St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for Clifton Park Family Health in Clifton Park, NY. You will support nurses and physicians, take vital signs, manage patient flow and front-end tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Ideal candidates hold a MA training program credential and CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, have experience with EHR systems, and are committed to patient confidentiality and quality care. Monday–Friday office hours; pay range $20.00–$26.15 hourly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program.
• Holds National Medical Assistant Certification: CMA, CCMA, or RMA.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to exam room, take vital signs, and document health information in the EMR.
• Respond to patient concerns and coordinate referrals.
• Complete referrals and obtain pre-authorizations for diagnostic testing.
• Follow protocol for collection and delivery of specimens.
• Maintain exam rooms stocked and clean; manage supplies.
• Perform front-end duties to support revenue cycle: scheduling, registration, check-in/out, and billing tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and work with the care team.
