Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• No experience required with MA certification OR 1+ year of MA experience without certification.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology experience.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with standards.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN.
• MA II: administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks.
• MA III: perform high-level clinical procedures and mentor staff.
• Contribute to a positive environment with growth opportunities.
