River Road Clinic in St George, Utah, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians in an ambulatory setting. You will assist with patient intake, data gathering, and coordinating care, under clinician supervision.

Intermountain Health offers education assistance up to $5,250 annually and opportunities for career advancement, with a pay range of $20.07 to $28.59 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• This position requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year MA work experience or current active RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, before start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality and PHI of patients and caregivers.
• Utah only: MA residency program if MA experience <1 year.
