Job summary

ASAS Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient services with a strong emphasis on quality care and customer service. You will collaborate with clinical staff to prepare for visits, document medical information, and assist providers during examinations, while maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant certification, CPR certification, and willingness to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• High school Graduate (or GED) required.
• Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant, preferred.
• Current, valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for patient visits by reviewing and updating patient records prior to encounters, including Telehealth.
• Maintains exam rooms according to protocols and stocks supplies.
• Alerts physician or mid-level provider when patient is ready for examination.
• Greet patients, take vitals and basic medical history, and document in medical chart.
• Assist physician or mid-level providers during examinations as needed.
• Restock rooms and ensure clean, orderly exam areas.
