The incumbent will perform patient intake, vital signs, room preparation, scheduling support, and documentation, contributing to a smooth patient workflow and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures and takes vital signs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including triage and documenting information.
• Maintains daily logs and medical records documentation.
• Supports scheduling, referrals, and verifying insurance eligibility.
• Maintains organized workload and provides courteous service.
• Monitors supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies.
• Maintains regular attendance and confidentiality.
