Job summary

Cell Staff is seeking a licensed Medical Assistant to join our client facilities in Wisconsin. This full-time role involves assisting clinicians, taking vital signs, and supporting patient flow in correctional healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate holds state MA licensure in good standing, has at least 1 year of MA experience, and is comfortable with 8-hour shifts and some weekend work. We offer weekly pay and travel stipends for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational program.
• Licensed as a Medical Assistant by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing.
• 1+ year of relevant Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and other pertinent information.
• Assist in obtaining medical histories from patients, including current medications, allergies, and past medical conditions. Entering the information on the patient charts.
• Assist medical team with medical procedures such as wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Medical Assistant Details

• Full Time Schedules
• Some weekends may be required
• 8 hour shifts
• Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

Medical Assistant Duties
