Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to keep daily operations running smoothly for patients and the clinical team. You will proactively prepare patient charts, ensure information is current, and support multiple patients daily as physicians are on-site.

Responsibilities include assisting during examinations, retrieving equipment, and completing forms, with a focus on accuracy and patient care. Prior MA or military medical training and CPR are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant Program or completion of U.S. Armed Forces Medical services training program.
• Demonstrated experience with computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team.

Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site.

Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

• Maintains hospital standards of zero tolerance for mislabeled specimens and collects laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol
• Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments and procedures as requested
• Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or completion of an U.S. Armed Forces Medical services training program
• Demonstrated experience with computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

• Previous MA experience
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Previous experience in designated specialty
