Job summary

Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a Medical Assistant for our General Surgery Clinic. This full-time, day-shift role supports physicians with patient examinations, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and charting, ensuring smooth clinic flow.

No weekends or holidays; benefits start day one. You will prep rooms, obtain vitals, collect histories, and triage calls, delivering patient-ready information with accurate terminology to the provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares exam rooms and equipment; maintains supplies.
• Obtains vital signs and patient history; accurate charting.
