Job Summary: The medical assistant performs administrative support duties under the direction of the practice manager, including scheduling appointments, answering calls, registering patients, updating demographics, verifying insurance, and processing payments. Clinical duties include obtaining vital signs, recording medical histories, preparing patients, and administering medications under supervision.
