Job summary

Alivio Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Providers in patient examination and treatment. The role involves vital sign checks, phlebotomy, injections, basic lab tests, and charting.

The candidate will handle room preparation, instrument handing, and data entry, while ensuring safety and quality standards. The position requires MA training or 5+ years experience with CMA/RMA certification, BLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate OR 5+ years MA experience with CMA/RMA certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Six months outpatient MA experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English or Chinese/English is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms for examinations.
• Perform basic phlebotomy and routine CLIA waived lab tests.
• Provide instruments to providers and assist during procedures.
• Maintain and retrieve patient records and data entry.
• Coordinate care with specialists as needed.
