Job summary

Complete-Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical exams and patient care in a fast-paced practice. The role involves vital signs collection, specimen handling, injections, and EMR documentation under supervision.

The candidate will prepare exam rooms, assist providers during procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. A CMA certification and EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Clinical Medical Assistant or CMA active certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software; Internet software, EMR systems (Athena preferred) and Database software.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds; assist in moving patients up to 300 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records vital signs into EMR.
• Prepares exam rooms and stocks supplies.
• Hand instruments to providers and assists with procedures.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments; performs basic tests (EKG, urinalysis, rapid tests).
• Gives injections as ordered; handles portal messages and orders labs or imaging.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and communicates results to patients as directed.
• Performs blood draws and assists mobility/transport within the clinic.
