Job summary

My Health Onsite is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Florida care team. You will welcome patients, prepare exam rooms, perform vital signs, blood draws, injections, and input data into the EMR, while supporting physicians and staff.

We value compassionate care, teamwork, and safety. A current BLS certification is required; CMA or equivalent experience is preferred. This full-time role offers a stable schedule and opportunities to grow with our expanding network.

Qualifications

• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room.
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow safety/regulatory procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, HR, SpO2, height, weight, waist circumference).
• Provide information and assistance to patients.
• Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, input data into EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations; keep rooms neat and stocked.
• Maintain patient confidentiality of care information.
• Assist physician and medical staff with procedures.
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration.

Schedule:

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room

• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
• Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration

Minimum Qualifications:

• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
• BLS for Healthcare Providers

Preferred:

• Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR)
• Proficiency with blood draws and injections
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
• Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
