Job summary

MaxHealth in Bradenton is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks, in a fast-paced outpatient setting at Cortez Rd. W., Bradenton.

Starting salary is $20.00 an hour with a $500 sign-on bonus after 30 days. Benefits include health benefits, 401k, life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, and PTO. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; bilingual preferred and some phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of MA experience.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in computer systems and EMR/EHR.

Responsibilities

• Greet and triage patients and assist physicians during exams.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with procedures.
• Perform front-desk tasks including scheduling and document management.
• Maintain patient records and manage pre-authorizations as needed.
