Job summary

My Health Onsite is a Florida-based provider delivering proactive, personalized healthcare across employer-sponsored centers. We seek a Medical Assistant to support patient care and contribute to a compassionate care team.

In this role you will welcome patients, perform vital signs, assist with procedures, manage injections and blood draws, and document in the EMR. The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and patient-centered communication.

Qualifications

• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience is preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room.
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow safety procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference).
• Provide information and assistance to patients.
• Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations, keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and care information.
• Assist physicians and medical staff with procedures and treatments.
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration.

Essential Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room
• Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
• Provide information and assistance to patients
• Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
• Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
• Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
• BLS for Healthcare Providers

Preferred

• Certified Medical Assistant or Equivalent Experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR)
• Proficiency with blood draws and injections
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
• Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
