Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience as Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• Completion of MA program or equivalent training.
• For Rural Health clinics, BLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and perform procedures under supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Document interventions, vitals, and medications in chart or system.
• Administer injections, venipuncture, EKGs as directed.
• Coordinate with providers for prescriptions and referrals.
