Job summary

Bronson Internal Medicine – John St., Kalamazoo, MI is hiring a Medical Assistant for full-time work (40 hours/week). The role supports the practice under the provider’s direction, handles vital signs, histories, and patient education, and uses EMR systems daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for CMA or RMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing functions under a provider's direction.
• Record vitals, immunizations, patient history and assess patients.
• Process chart information and educate patients on medications and care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and effective team communication.
• Input and retrieve data from EMR systems; use computers daily.
