Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking medically trained candidatesto join our local Resource team! This position is benefit eligibleworking full-time hours are 40 hours per week Monday through Fridayand is based at the BMC Louisville location (80 Health Park Dr., Suite100, Louisville, CO 80027). Below is a list of the differentspecialties BMC provides outpatient care for at this site location(other site locations will have different specialties represented).

- Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties:
- Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limitedto, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifyingpatient information, patient check in/out, coordinate and facilitateaccurate patient appointment
- Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation,medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist withmedical examinations
- Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patientinformation in electronic and/or manual systems as established bythe appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies
- Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is presentand room is adequately stocked
- Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronicmedical record system
Experience and Skills
- Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and useappropriate professional judgment in course of action.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to andwork at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
- Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes asneeded.
Education Requirements (one of the followingoptions):
- Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is notrequired but preferred.
- Other completed medical training, education, and proof of activecertification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistantspecific credentials. (Examples include but are not limited to:EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
- Military medical training and education with supportingdocumentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistantspecific credentials.
- College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degreeis an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specificcredentials. *College transcripts must reflect completedhealth science course work. Please submit a copy of yourunofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinicsetting, preferred
The starting hourly pay range for this position iscommensurate with experience:
- $18.91 - $25.21/hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days,subsequently until filled.
