Job summary

SolutionHealth's Manchester Urology department is seeking a Medical Assistant to support provider care from Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, in Manchester, NH. The role involves rooming patients, documenting vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing point-of-care testing under JCAHO/CLIA/NCQA standards.

Ideal candidates have HS Diploma or GED, MA program graduation or externship, and BLS within 90 days. CMA/RMA/CCMA is preferred; prior ambulatory care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred or externships allowed.
• CMA, RMA or CCMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Performs visit chart preparation based on daily appointments and reports.
• Rooms patients for provider visits following criteria and records vitals and history.
• Obtains and documents vital signs, height/weight, and other measurements.
• Performs screening tests (depression, asthma) as needed and documents results.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing per policies.
• Administers medications and immunizations as appropriate and processes refills.
