Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Wayne Office. The role supports physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, performs clinical and clerical tasks, and ensures smooth patient flow in a dermatology setting.

Ideal candidates have dermatology and healthcare experience, are proficient with EMR software and Microsoft Office, and can work Monday–Friday with some weekend coverage. Join a patient-focused team committed to excellent care.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience required
• Healthcare experience required
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Job Summary: Full-Time Medical Assistant at our Wayne Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7am-7pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Hourly Pay Range: $19-24
