Job summary

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center in Canton, OH is hiring a Full Time Medical Assistant who is a team player to work in our Outpatient GI Center. You will support physicians in diagnosing and treating GI conditions, provide consultations and services with clarity, and help ensure patients receive the best possible care.

This role maintains endoscope equipment per OSHA/SGNA guidelines, upholds infection control, and collaborates with the Charge Nurse and ASC Director to deliver safe, high-quality

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant or Patient Care Technician clinical training.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One Year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain endoscope equipment safely per OSHA/SGNA guidelines.
  • Maintain infection control to promote quality patient care.
  • Work with ASC Director and Charge Nurse as part of the team.

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking to add a Full Time Medical Assistant who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!
Welcome to Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center!

As a Medical Assistant at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

We take pride in our friendly and supportive work environment, where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable and long-lasting relationships with our patients. While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Medical Assistant at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center:

The Medical Assistant maintains all endoscope equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to OSHA, SGNA, and manufacture guidelines. Maintain work environment in keeping with infection control guidelines to promote quality patient care. Functions within the philosophy, policies and procedures of the ASC and represents the practice within and outside the organization. Works cooperatively with all other staff members. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
