Job Description - MEDICAL ASSISTANT (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Chestnut Hill, Flourtown (252241)

Responsibilities

1. Administer and perform triage and direct care to patients under RN/Nurse Manager supervision, including measuring vital signs, updating medical records, and assisting clinicians during exams.
2. Ensure smooth patient flow by providing efficient basic care and performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to support office operations.
3. Perform secretarial duties such as checking patients in/out, filing, copying, answering phones, and other clerical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
2. Relevant experience in healthcare setting.
3. Licenses/Certifications: BLS, and one of the following: CCMA, CMA, or RMA.
