Job summary

Revere Health in Utah is seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Assistant or CNA to support providers and patients in a fast pace clinic. You will collect patient histories, prepare exam rooms, document visits, and assist with front‑office duties while delivering courteous, professional service.

Candidates should have current CPR certification, familiarity with electronic medical records, and the ability to multi‑task in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience or certification as Medical Assistant or CNA and CPR certification (or completed within 4 months of hiring).
• Working knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient on computers.
• Knowledge of ICD10 and EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit, reconciling medication lists.
• Prepares patients for examinations. Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
• Begins patient’s notes prior to the office visit. Records the office visits via electronic templates on behalf of the physician.
• Responsible for ensuring thoroughness of medical documentation. Triages phone messages from patients and responds as directed.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, posts copays and other front office duties as needed.
• Works with insurance companies and pharmacies as needed for prior authorizations.
