Providence Ambulatory Care Network is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical teams with exams, procedures, injections and medication administration. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on MA training.
• Completion of a registered MA apprenticeship or equivalent program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year MA experience with vital signs, injections and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures, and perform tests under supervision.
• Administer medications and provide injections as prescribed.
• Handle front desk tasks including patient registration and insurance billing.
• Cashiering and payment collection in addition to patient care duties.
