Job summary

PartnerCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at a Cordova, TN location. You will prepare patients, document vitals, assist physicians, and manage EMR orders while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, CMA/RMA preferred, and current BLS/ CPR certification. Some travel to other clinic sites may be required with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary healthcare education preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Pain management, orthopedic, or interventional radiology experience a plus.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for office visits; obtain and document vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history.
• Assist physician during office examinations and minor in-office procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed and per scope of practice.
• Enter orders and ensure accuracy of documentation in the EMR system.
• Prepare exam rooms between patients; restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control standards, and PartnerCare policies.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and front office.
• Participate in team huddles and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
