Job summary

Txhealthcare in Irving, Texas is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support front desk and clinical operations in a busy primary care office.

You will greet patients, enter new information, verify insurance, collect co-pays, schedule appointments and assist with procedures while maintaining accurate charting in NextGen EMR.

Strong customer service, excellent telephone skills, and knowledge of HMOs/PPOs are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant diploma, certification, graduate transcript, or equivalent front desk/office experience.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Working knowledge of insurance plans (HMOs, PPOs, commercial).
• Previous medical front desk or office experience preferred.
• Experience with NextGen EPM/EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities
