Job summary

First Choice Urgent Care is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant/Front Desk to float between Waterford and Bloomfield clinics, with the ability to pick up extra shifts at any of our 18 locations. Duties include greeting and registering patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays.

Rooming, vitals, testing, specimens, EKG, x-ray, blood draw, injections; assisting in examinations under provider direction.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant: 2 years experience required
• Vital signs experience encouraged
• BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and answer phones
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays
• Room patients and record vitals; perform testing and specimen prep
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments, including EKG, X-ray, lab work, injections

1st Choice Urgent Care/OccMed Connect is looking to hire a PRN Medical Assistant/Front Desk. Float between Waterford and Bloomfield clinics, with the ability to pick up extra shifts at any of our 18 locations.

Duties include but are not limited to greeting and registering patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays. Rooming the patient, vitals, testing, preparing specimens, EKG, x-ray, blood draw, injections. The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the provider. All other duties as assigned.

Shifts Depending on Location:

6 hours

8 hours

10 hours

12 hours
