First Choice Urgent Care is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant/Front Desk in Michigan. Qualifications

• Vital signs experience required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and answer phones.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Room patients and take vitals; perform testing and specimen prep.
• Assist in examination and treatment under provider direction.
• Perform EKGs, X-rays, venipuncture, injections as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and charting; support front desk duties.

1st Choice Urgent Care/OccMed Connect is looking to hire a Full Time Medical Assistant/Front Desk.

Duties include but are not limited to greeting and registering patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays. Rooming the patient, vitals, testing, preparing specimens, EKG, x-ray, blood draw, injections. The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the provider. All other duties as assigned.
