Job summary

Enloe Health is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) to perform front and back-office tasks under supervision in a clinical setting. You will assist providers, collect patient data, prepare patients for evaluation, and support routine procedures.

Responsibilities include administering medications within scope, drawing blood, and assisting with in-clinic procedures. California certification and CPR are expected; a CMA or medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or hold CMA certification.
• Associate degree or higher in a clinical healthcare field with back-office experience.
• Experience in medical office settings and front/back-office operations.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinic operations and rooming activities; collect/record patient data and histories.
• Prepare patients for clinician evaluation and assist during procedures.
• Perform basic tasks such as dressing changes and specimen collection as allowed.
• Administer medications as trained and within scope of practice; monitor patient responses.
• Support other clinic-based duties to ensure efficient patient care.
