Job summary

MaxHealth in Bradenton is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. The role involves front and back office duties in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy with EMR/EHR systems.
• Proficient with general computer use.
• Experience with medical records management.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and triage upon arrival.
• Prepare examination and procedure rooms.
• Obtain patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist physicians during exams.
• Perform front desk tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling pre-authorizations and medical records.
