Job summary

Enloe Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to perform front-office and routine back-office tasks under supervision of clinicians in a clinical setting. You will assist providers, room patients, collect histories, take vital signs, and prepare patients for evaluation while applying clinic policies.

The role is day shift, 8 hours, with Saturdays and Sundays off. Compensation ranges from $24.74 to $31.67 per hour and varies by experience.

Qualifications

• Must meet at least one of the listed MA qualifications: CMA cert or accredited MA program graduate.
• Military medical training plus one year back-office care experience.
• EMT/CNA with one year back-office care experience.
• Associate degree or higher in clinical healthcare + one year back-office experience.
• California CMA certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinic operations and room patients for clinician evaluation.
• Record patient histories, medications, vitals, and questionnaires.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures and apply/remove dressings as needed.
• Administer medications per scope and perform routine lab draws.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with staff and patients.
